“If you enjoy shopping at thrift stores like I do, this is a must-see. It’s a small shop, but if you’re patient enough to browse their display, you can find some decent goods. Great knowledge and personnel. You can already have useful items for $6 or $3. Take a look at their store…”

“This Dunedin op shop has a lot of wonderful merchandise at reasonable rates. Unlike several op shops around town that forget their target market and overcharge for stuff, this place features quality items at affordable prices and friendly staff.”

“This store is fantastic! It’s divided into two sections, one for books, music, and so forth, and the other for general op shop items. I adore the book level; it’s practically a high-quality used bookstore with op shop rates. If you find yourself in one of these areas, ask for directions to the other because it is not evident. I don’t live in Tepoti, but I go there on a semi-regular basis. I drove by the bottom level several times before making the decision to enter. I’d been in a few times before a staff member inquired about the upper floor.”

“Friendly people and a neat, clean shop. We are very happy with the outdoor furniture we ordered. I’ll be back shortly.”

“I spent an hour in here today, which was simple. The people working here are well-organized and polite, and they are eager to assist and speak. It was warm and inviting, full of colour, and smelled wonderful…not all op shops do. I strongly advise you to take a look around at some point. Parking on the street is available… better in the morning.”

“These guys do a great job, sorting and selling second-hand goods to the community. Some good bargains for those in need. Great range of donated goods and good quality.”

“A good site to get low-cost, high-quality used apparel. There are a lot of high-end names and sportswear. There is adequate access but not a lot of parking. To be fair, it is a popular destination. Clean and neat. Well thought out. All clothing are steamed before being hung on racks.”

“The store is clean, bright, and well-organized, yet the things are pricey, and I spotted several knit sweaters with holes/pulls. Having said that, I found a wonderfully lovely top that I loved but paid $70 for it. It’s worth a look because there’s a great assortment and some pretty good shoes.”

Collectibles is an amazing shop, and Jo, the owner, and her staff are highly attentive and interested in every customer that walks in, and the clothes are also bought and sold with their market people in mind. If you’re looking for some secondhand outfits in Dunedin, I highly recommend this thrift store.

“Wonderful crew that always greets you with a smile! I was able to get a lot of wool for a low price, and the needles were only $1. I enjoy going here since the prices are low for an op shop and you know your money is going to something worthwhile. Moreover, items in the store cycle quickly, so if you see something you want, get it soon because it may not be available the next time you come in.”

“A great spot to shop for almost anything. My favourite butter knife’s handle snapped. So, I went in and they had one on the shelf for a couple of dollars.”
