“Crew Community Resources in Whakatane is a beautiful place where you may get many things to save and adorn your home. This is a second-hand variety shop with items in decent condition such as dishes and vases for c20- $1 each, a bookshelf for $15, and baggage for $7 apiece, among other things. Furthermore, some of them are still fresh but must be cleaned. Inside, there are two levels for furniture, house decorations, literature, music records, kitchen items, and hardware. Furthermore, heavy items such as sinks, bathrooms, doors, windows, and other external decorations can be seen from the outside of the shop when you drive in. The entire staff is pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Nonetheless, there is a small parking lot.”

“An outstanding op shop and a beautiful setting for people to re-engage with society in a practical sense; congratulations to all who are making this possible.”

“I got some good deals. I paid $40 for a secondhand table that now looks brand new after recovering it with vinyl. I’m pleased with my buy. I thought $40 for petrol was a little high. However, the distance between Whakatane and Kawerau is considerable. I am grateful. Thank you, Salvo. My mother is overjoyed.”

“With a smile, friendly and helpful customer service. Lots of of savings on haberdashery wool for beginners like me, as well as jars for fruit preserves and jams for the next winter months. My first experience was fantastic.”

“Friendly workers, an organised business, although I thought certain items were a little overpriced. It’s a wonderful purpose (I work as a hospice nurse), but a $29 secondhand dress that has been donated will most likely sit on the rack for much longer than necessary.”

“Friendly, informative, and nice customer service in Whakatane. I was looking for woollen slippers, but they didn’t have any. Joy, the generous lady, offered to hand-knit a pair. I was able to collect them within a few days. As winter approaches, they are lovely and warm. I appreciate your kindness, lovely lady.”
